On Friday, July 31st, Greenbank held it's 33rd annual community beef barbecue, and I have to tell you that I was blown away by this event. The amount of work, the size of the BBQ, the live entertainment, the hips of beef and the slices of pie.... ooh, those pies! ...Aquarama 09 makes a big Lake Scugog SPLASH!

The Rotary Club of Port Perry held their 16th annual "Aquarama" fundraiser last weekend, and it was a great success. As a matter of fact, it was their best ever. Over $15,000 was raised this time, and that brings the total amount raised over those years in excess of $150,000! ...Seagrave Garden Tour 2009

This was the first year for this event, and from all accounts it was a great success! The Seagrave United Church Men's Group hosted this event as a fundraiser to support mission, service and outreach activities. The tour featured nine town and country gardens in Scugog Township and the Sonya ...Pow Wow in full regalia!
